Climate story first draft
After My Climate Story was introduced to the class, we had a brief discussion about their knowledge of climate change and their exposure to climate topics in school and their lives. Students then spent five minutes thinking about and writing down how they have observed climate change in their experiences. Students were paired up randomly to discuss their climate experiences in a mini-interview of each other.
Students were then instructed to write a first draft of their climate stories. They uploaded them and
their interviews into Google Classroom. The first draft was shared in the next Friday’s class.
