Reflection on relationship to the land

Description
After a week long lesson on the various ways pre-Columbian Indigenous American societies survived off of the land, students were able to reflect on their own relationships to ‘the land’. After a class period where they completed a concept map on what the ‘land’ provides to them, they were asked to respond to the following prompt: “What is your relationship to ‘the land’ (or nature)? What is your responsibility to protect it?”
