Saul’s “The Earthseed Outdoor Learning Lab” project, is inspired by Octavia E. Butler’s novel, Parable of the Sower. The students focused on the text’s concept of “Earthseed,” a spiritual belief system that centers on truth, knowledge, adaptatibiltiy, growth, nature, & community.
