How are you sensing climate change?

The Eastern Tiger Swallowtail butterfly has an interesting climate story involving genetics. It has the ability to mate with the Canadian tiger swallowtail butterfly species, but the area where their ranges intersect has decreased due to climate change. This will deter gene flow and make the species less similar – possibly leaving beneficial genes in one species and not the other.
