Allyonna’s Climate Story

Philadelphia, United States

How are you sensing climate change?

I’m sensing climate change from the way the weather has been acting this year. For example, sometimes it’d be really cold out then hot the next day. Also, when it rains all day then goes back to being sunny the next. Not to mention the sudden rain that happens randomly.

How do these changes make you feel?

These changes make me feel frustrated, to be honest. I don’t know if I should dress warmly or wear something that won’t make me sweat all day. The weather change also makes it overwhelming when I have to take public transportation. Whether it’s waiting for the bus in the hot sun, the cold, or the rain and it’s only the second month of autumn which makes it overwhelming.
