How are you sensing climate change?

This fall has been peculiarly warm, but the lingering heat over the previous months was most severe between July and August, maintaining consecutive weeks of high eighties and several ninety-degree days in a row. I worked as a camp counselor at my recreation center and half of it was just a bare concrete parking lot, trapping a ton of heat. The young campers between ages six and eight complained about not feeling well and nearly fainted, as some had in the previous summers due to these heat waves.

How do these changes make you feel?

I feel like the heat waves during summer are becoming worryingly severe; I see so many people struggle just being outside, especially little kids that want to play at the playground but end up sitting on a bench profusely sweating after just a few minutes of activity.
