How are you sensing climate change?

My family has a cabin in Kentucky. When my dad was growing up, they would do the usual drive from Cincinnati to this rural lake village in Northern Kentucky. He remembered how they used to have to scrape a wall of bugs off the windshield halfway through the drive. Now, we don’t have to do any scraping. Whatever the reason, be it because of temperature change or increased pesticide use in agriculture, this represents a striking environmental change. I sensed biodiversity loss..

How do these changes make you feel?

It makes me feel sad; the world feels emptier. It was teeming with more life around those Kentucky fields.
